Hiring: Landscape Technician
We’re looking to add a part-timer to our team this spring.

Location: Victoria, BC (Capital Region)
Schedule: 1–2 days per week – flexibility
(Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays), starting mid-March 2026
Compensation: $26–$28 / hour to start; (plus vacation and sick pay)
3-month probationary period
We are a dynamic, five-person foodscaping team with over 15 years of experience on unique projects in the Capital Region. We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, hard-working landscaper to join our crew and assist with foodscape installation and maintenance across diverse sites and microclimates.
What You’ll Be Doing
Landscape Construction: Build raised beds and walkways; install garden edging; install concrete/steel footings for greenhouses and fences; install boulder & log edging; install irrigation; maintain clean, safe job sites; moving soil, mulch or rock products in wheelbarrow.
Garden Install & Maintenance: Perform routine mulching; weeding; fruit tree pruning; and drip irrigation maintenance; sourcing & planting nursery stock; transplanting; Identify and diagnose pest & disease in horticultural settings, and landscape fertility issues.
Logistics & Transport: Safely operate a company work truck in and around Victoria, frequently loading and unloading heavy tools, building materials, mulch, and wood chips.
Client Relations: Maintain courteous, professional communication with clients on-site.
What We’re Looking For
Attributes: A strong team player with good interpersonal skills, close attention to detail, and a creative, artisanal approach to landscaping. Ability to use small power tools (chop saw, skill saw, drills, etc) safely. Someone who shows up ready to work safely, efficiently and hard.
Experience: At least 2 full seasons of experience working hard outdoors. This could be as a tree-planter or on a residential/commercial landscaper team, or other farm-related work. Carpentry, horticultural and hardscaping skills are all assets.
Requirements: A valid Class 5 Driver’s License and the physical ability to perform heavy labour safely and sustainably.
Location: Centrally located within the Capital Region (Esquimalt, Victoria, or Saanich preferred).
